Quality Control Microbiologist position available at BIOVECTRA Inc. in Windsor, NS. Perform microbiology lab tasks, implement quality control procedures, and ensure compliance with safety practices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing routine maintenance and calibration of microbiology lab equipment.
  • Implementing quality control procedures for various products and samples.
  • Preparing samples according to quality control standards.
  • Completing paperwork for material release, including status labels and certificates of analysis.
  • Complying with safety practices for the laboratory and manufacturing facilities.
  • Performing chemical analyses when required.
  • Adhering to BIOVECTRA's Health and Safety Policy.
  • Additional duties assigned based on business needs.

The successful candidate should have:

  • Bachelor of Science in Biology or related field.
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques.
