Senior Supply Chain Planning Executive

About the Role
SAP is seeking a highly experienced Executive Leader to head our Integrated Business Planning Product Management Organization. As the leader of the DSC Planning Product Management organization, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our product management function and leading a team of talented professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive commercial success for our Supply Chain Planning portfolio, for our product Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- Delight our customers and partners by developing amazing products and innovations
- Set the right priorities and focus to maximize market growth for the solution
- Conquer our competition by defining and building unique differentiation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product marketing, and customer success
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including key customers and partners, to gather feedback, drive product innovation and adoption
- Develop and execute the product strategy and vision for our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions
- Lead with customer adoption & satisfaction at every step of the way, monitor and analyze product performance metrics, take data-driven decisions to optimize product offerings and ultimately drive revenue growth
- Own the product roadmap, prioritizing features and capabilities based on customer feedback, market demands, and business objectives
- Ensure alignment with overall company goals and objectives
- Act as a trusted advisor to customer executives and the board, work closely with the executive leadership team to define and execute the overall business strategy, ensuring the product management function is aligned with the company's vision
- Provide strategic leadership to the organization
- Manage an organization by leading a team of Senior Product Managers providing guidance and mentorship, and support to drive their professional growth and maximize their potential
- Take staffing decisions on hiring, replacements, talent development, and work assignments for the product management organization
- Engage customers, partners, and other stakeholders at all stages of the product lifecycle to ensure we are solving the right problems and building products our customers need
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape, translating these insights into actionable product strategies
- Understand and take ownership (with your team) of customer problems and turn them into product solutions from concept through to requirements, run product discovery, lead the creation of wireframes and prototypes to experiment and iteratively learn how to best solve our customers business challenges, and ultimately design, and delivery amazing business outcomes for our customers
- Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills required to handle conflicting demands, with highly refined written communication and oral presentation skills, especially for senior executive and board level communication
About You
We are looking for a professional with an academic background in Computer Science, Business or Business Administration, or related field, Master's degree or MBA or related advanced degree is a plus. You should have a proven track record in Product Management and/or Engineering leadership roles for state-of-the-art SaaS enterprise software solution providers. Strong domain expertise in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) concepts and solutions or related fields is required. Demonstrated success in developing and executing product strategies that drive substantial revenue growth and market share is essential. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of professionals, manifested by high leadership trust and employee engagement score. Ideally, an international track record shows that you can effectively relate to multicultural teams. Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English, proven executive presence including C-Level communication, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Proven ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. Leadership qualities: trust, empowerment and clarity, reliability, accountability and execution driven.
