Laundry Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Aide to join our team at Compass Group Canada. As a Laundry Aide, you will be responsible for performing laundry services, including cleaning and distributing linens to clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Sort, wash, and dry linens according to approved procedures.
- Fold, count, and stack linens in a neat and organized manner.
- Collect soiled linens and redistribute clean linens to clients.
- Transport supplies to storage and collection areas.
- Inspect linens for wear and tear, identifying damaged items and following standard operating procedures.
- Maintain laundry rooms in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.
- Experience in housekeeping and/or laundry is an asset.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively.
- Ability to operate laundry equipment, such as washing machines, dryers, and linen press.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Physically able to carry out duties of the position.
