Quality Control Lead

As a Quality Control Lead, you will be responsible for the performance of all quality functions and duties as related to the SGRT construction activities. You will report to the Project Quality Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the execution of the Inspection and Test Plans
  • Perform quality inspection in accordance with the project's quality program, the related codes and customer specifications
  • Review of Certified Material Test Reports as required
  • Perform internal weld monitoring as required
  • Complete all associated documentation and forms for individual inspections
  • Writing and tracking of non-conformance reports and corrective/preventative action requests
  • Support site QC activities associated with the project requirements

Requirements:

  • Graduate secondary school education in welding technology, QA/QC or a related discipline at the University or College level
  • W178 Level 2 Visual Weld inspection
  • Knowledgeable in ASME Code, B&PV plus Nuclear, CWB experience, and other Technical Standards and Codes associated with the project
  • Computer literate in MS Office
  • Previous experience in receiving inspections and controls within a Nuclear Qualified Program would be considered an asset
  • Good communication and organizational skills
