Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented General Duty Medical Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic duties in accordance with their scope of training and experience. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care and technical support functions as part of a multi-disciplinary team approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic duties in accordance with scope of training and experience
  • Provide direct patient care and technical support functions
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Maintain a safe environment in accordance with professional and provincial guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance programs and maintain standards put forth by Accreditation

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved Medical Radiography program with attained certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Previous related experience preferred
  • Must maintain active registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Windows computer environment required
  • Microsoft Office programs preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Maintains confidentiality with all information entrusted to the position
