We are looking for a Front-End Developer to join our Product Development Team.

The successful candidate will be able to :

  • Build engaging user-facing functionality and user interfaces that optimize the functionality produced by the back-end, full-stack, platform operations.
  • Collaborate with the teams around you to grow the product. This includes not only other dev team members, but also Product, UX, CX, SysOps, and customer-facing teams.
  • Contribute to the growth of your team and Limelight by providing insight, suggestions, and recommendations on ways to improve the product and team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and enforce programming standards and techniques across the organization
  • Ability to function productively on multiple project teams simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently without any supervision

What will your typical day look like?

  • You will be focused on delivering enhancements to the Limelight Product. You'll work with a Team Lead or other dev resources to architect, design, implement, and launch significant features.
  • You'll analyze requirements, issues, existing functionality, and technical options to determine the best solution for features, bugs, and enhancements.
  • You will be collaborating with your teammates. We have a short standup at the beginning of the day and then have some breakout sessions depending on the issues that need to be addressed.
  • You'll work in an agile environment that protects your focus and ensures you have a defined backlog of tasks. You'll make progress on your deliverables towards a goal and show responsibility for completion at quality benchmarks.

The Successful Candidate should have:

  • Post-Secondary Degree specialization in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of related experience in software design and development
  • At least 5 years of JavaScript/TypeScript Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience
  • Advanced HTML/CSS Skills
  • A proven ability to produce engaging & dynamic interfaces.
  • Advanced HTML/CSS skills
  • Experience in making progress through an agile backlog with a focus on delivery, transparency and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of Java, an understanding of relational databases are strongly preferred. Experience working on large-scale, high-traffic multitier RESTful applications.
  • Excellent communication skills

The Successful Candidate may have:

  • Experience with SOC Type 2 Certification requirements and maintenance
  • Familiarity with Redux, experience with Plotly, Durandal, and Knockout are preferred.
