Construction Project Manager

Manage construction projects from $5 to $20 million, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction, with a salary of $100-$120K.

The Company is seeking a Candidate with 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in General Contracting, to manage and monitor the success of assigned construction project(s).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of the project, from pre-construction to close-out, allocating adequate resources, work breakdown structure, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Develop a risk register at the onset of the project and manage it throughout the lifecycle.
  • Learn and adhere to the Company's Best Practices and continually train on Procore upgrades.
  • Track all project costs to ensure the target budget is met or exceeded on assigned construction projects.
  • Ensure projects are finished on-time and to the client's satisfaction, creating and managing relationships with clients, consultants, and trades.
  • Resolve deficiencies in a timely manner, discussing, documenting, and improving key takeaways or lessons learned.
  • Attend and proactively participate in OAC meetings and associated conflict resolution.
  • Report to the Project Director regularly on assigned project's health, promoting and enforcing safety on each project.
  • Update the construction schedule weekly and report.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years in the construction industry, with 10+ years working "at risk" for a General Contractor (CCDC 2, CCDC 14, CCDC 5B).
  • Infinitely familiar with CCDC contracts and have completed 20-30 CCDC 2 contracts on ICI projects $5-20MM value each.
  • Experience in Procore, building complex MS project schedules, and updating on a weekly basis (tracking change events and delays).
  • Experience writing claims, willing to commute or relocate to Niagara, and interested in a long-term career.
  • Proven ability to manage Div 1. General Conditions costs, with 3-5 subcontractor references and 3-5 client references.
  • Team player, collaborative, driven, and ambitious.
