Job Responsibilities:
  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Assist with kitchen deliveries, including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Arrive on time, properly groomed and dressed, and be ready to work all scheduled shifts, attending required trainings and meetings as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer needs in a timely and effective manner, and modeling suggestive selling techniques.
  • Maximize sales potential through effective procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
  • Follow established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices, to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment, adhering to our cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing.
  • Report safety hazards and violations immediately, and perform other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Standing/walking for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday.
  • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
  • Work requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
  • Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
  • Exposure to temperatures: 90°F.
  • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
