Commercial Banking Agricultural Analyst Co-op

About the Role
- Deepen client relationships by understanding clients' businesses, providing administrative support, and offering actionable recommendations to support credit decisions.
- Conduct company and industry analysis, financial modeling, and credit analysis to inform sound business decisions.
- Collect and assimilate information necessary to make informed credit decisions, minimizing touch points to provide fast turnaround times.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with Commercial business customers.
- Enrolled in an undergrad/post-secondary degree in Food and Agricultural Business, Economics, or similar field.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Prior experience in providing customer needs-based advice and solutions.
- Natural curiosity and passion for satisfying customer needs.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Problem-solving skills and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
