About the Role
- Establish and maintain a full-time community-based practice in High Level
- Provide services in Community Clinic, Emergency Room Coverage, Anesthesia, Inpatient & Outpatient Services, and Long-Term Care
- Collaborate with peers and care team colleagues to support patient care
- Participate in quality improvement programs and initiatives
- Contribute to administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- Current Alberta Practice Permit or valid CPSA Letter of Eligibility to practice in the advertised position
- Recent hands-on experience in all areas of practice, as the sole provider
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
- College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP)
- College of Family Physicians of Canada - Emergency Medicine (CCFP-EM)
- Sole provider of Anesthesia services (Diploma required, with a minimum of six months pre & post diploma experience)
- Geriatrics
- Rural Emergency Room Experience
