Job Description: Heavy Equipment Finishing Operator (Dozer and Excavator)Position Overview:

GrizzlyTrek is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Finishing Operators specializing in Dozer and Excavator operations to join our dynamic team. This role is critical for the successful completion of construction projects within the city limits of Edmonton. Our operators are essential in efficiently executing the finishing touches on various construction tasks, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications.

Location:

Edmonton, Alberta (Must have reliable transportation to and from the construction site)

Shifts:

10 hours per day, 6 days on followed by 1 day off.

Roles Available:
  • Dozer Operators
  • Excavator Operators
Key Responsibilities:
  • Dozer Operator
    • Operate dozers to perform finishing tasks such as final grading and smoothing to prepare sites for completion.
    • Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.
    • Maintain accurate logs of operations and report any issues to the management team.
    • Adhere to safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Excavator Operator
    • Handle and operate excavators with precision for final trenching, grading, and other finishing tasks.
    • Follow project plans and instructions from site management to ensure work is done according to specifications.
    • Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety.
    • Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and effective project completion.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Dozer or Excavator Operator with a focus on finishing work.
  • Strong understanding of operational and safety standards in a construction environment.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, plans, and on-site directives.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical fitness and ability to handle the physical demands of the job.
  • Valid operator certifications and licenses as required by local regulations.
