Key Responsibilities- Assess learning needs and develop educational plans for clients and healthcare professionals
- Provide diabetes education and support in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings
- Use a consultative approach to provide support to clients and healthcare professionals
- Stay up-to-date with current research findings and best practices in diabetes care
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) and Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS)
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Experience with diabetes in pregnancy
