Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, delivering, and grading all course material and assignments, as well as being available for consultation with students during and following completion of the course session. This position is part of the bargaining unit represented by the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and will be subject to the terms and conditions of the collective agreement between the University and PSAC.
Required Skills- Teaching Excellence: A proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences, with a strong potential for excellent teaching contributions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Evidence of an ability to work in a collaborative environment, with excellent communication skills and an ability to maintain effective relationships with faculty, staff, and students.
- Technology Skills: Comfortable use of a Learning Management System (e.g. WebCT, Blackboard) and experience with managing large classes and diverse populations.
- Education: A Master's Degree or a PhD in a relevant field of study is required, with specialist qualifications in a Management program being an asset.
- PhD Degree: Preference will be given to those with a PhD Degree and/or specialist qualifications in a related field of study.
- Teaching Experience: Experience teaching undergraduate students in a Management program is highly desirable.
