Project Engineer - Saskatoon

CSG are currently working with a gold operator with assets in four countries across the globe. They are looking for a Capital Projects Engineer to join the team.

The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing internal engineering projects as well as construction/execution for multi-disciplinary projects at their operation in Saskatoon. This is a FIFO opportunity on a rotation of 7 days on, 7 days off from 3 locations in Saskatchewan.

Duties of the Project Engineer include-
Provide leadership for effective project management control in a manner that will safely deliver capital projects within budget, schedule, and quality.Develop and maintain overall execution plan, schedules and cost management systems, contracts, and manage QA/ QC programs.Undertake the entire lifecycle of their project portfolio, ranging from strategic planning initiatives to tactical activities, including scoping, planning, design, procurement, execution, and reporting.Produce monthly reports on the progress of project portfolio development.
Required experience-
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Mechanical, electrical, mining, geological, chemical, or civil engineering or a related subject.Experience in operations and with Authorization to expenditure.A minimum of 5 years of direct work experience in project or construction engineering preferably in a mining or other industrial environment.Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods.Project management Professional certification will be considered an asset.Experience working in an industrial facility, remote operations, shift work, and seasonal access restrictions is preferred.
