Overview:


Canada Marketplace Analytics Analyst is responsible for developing and handling multiple sales performance reports, Tableau and PowerBI Dashboards and ad hoc analysis.

It is a client facing role adept at answering client questions and presenting analysis results. This role works directly with IT and Business teams to lead continuous process improvement.

Additionally, this role will support the Canadian Food Forecasting team as needed through creation of forecasts, baseline modelling and other ad hoc analysis.

This role also plays a critical role in ensuring best practices are shared and followed by the Global working teams.


Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Develop and manage sales performance dashboards and reports in Tableau, PowerBI, Python and SAS for supply chain and business insights visibility
Analyze and communicate sales trends and factors driving the business such as price, marketing activity, weather, etc. to internal and external clients
Present sales reports on high profile marketing initiatives to large audiences and address customer feedback and questions
Serve as HAVI Analytics face to the customer, develop and maintain strong relationships to influence decision making and promote HAVI's role as Analytics thought leader
Gather customer requirements when developing new analytics products. Balance client requests and available resources to control scope creep
Manage multiple deliverables' timelines and scope in order to meet customer objectives and milestones
Create close alignment with cross-functional business teams and stakeholders to ensure that reporting products and processes utilize best-in-class tools and methods to keep up-to-date with industry and business trends
Provide recommendations to event forecasting and data enablement teams on process improvements, solving problems and accomplishing planning objectives based on holistic understanding of cross-functional roles in the overall data management and Analytics delivery
Lead or participate on special project teams
Work together with forecasting team to create food forecasts as needed

Desired Skills & Experience:

ABOUT YOU
Bachelor's degree required with emphasis on Business, Statistics/Informatics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, with equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 2+ years of data analysis, dashboard development, python reporting and modelling development
Advanced knowledge of Python
Tableau and Tableau Server super-user
Working knowledge of PowerBI
Extensive SQL and database knowledge. Experience with large datasets
Working knowledge of SAS
Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, macros), PowerPoint, and Word
Experience in managing client relationships and expectations in a B2B setting required
Experience in a team environment, with responsibility for end-results
Experience with Marketing/Social Media analytics is a plus
