Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND minimum 4 years of technical engineering experience, including coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • At least 1 year of Front-End development experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of Software Engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering successful products.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.
  • Experience in software development and testing using Front-End technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of performant Javascript and/or Typescript.
  • Familiarity with UI frameworks such as React, Angular, or
  • Understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and CSS preprocessors.
  • Proficiency in working with build tools like webpack, grunt, and gulp.
  • Background in DevOps environments.
  • Any exposure to the Apollo GraphQL framework is advantageous.

Other Requirements:

  • Candidates must meet specific security screening criteria set by Microsoft, customers, and/or government entities for this role. This includes specialized security screenings like the Microsoft Cloud Background Check, which the candidate must pass upon hire/transfer and subsequently every two years.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base salary range for this role in Canada is CAD $104,000 - CAD $193,200 annually.
