About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Burnaby Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop effective care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing various medical procedures
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
Requirements
  • Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
