We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Burnaby Hospital. As a Relief Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse, Full Scope, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing various medical procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous learning
Requirements
  • Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of current nursing practices and standards of care
