Bed Allocator (Part Time) - Stratford, ON

Shifts: 6 or 12-hour days/nights, 7-days/week (may be subject to change)


The Bed Allocator acts as a liaison between admitting and receiving parties, and is responsible for coordinating room utilization based on patient care requirements.

This position works under the direction of the Manager of Patient Flow & Scheduling.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
1-year Medical Office Administration certificate
Clerical experience in a healthcare setting
Meditech experience an asset
Well-developed keyboarding/computer skills and experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Effective time management and organizational skills
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
