As an Artist Team Lead, your role is to ensure optimal production of the game art, adhering to the requested artistic direction and respecting time and technical constraints, for a realistic horror project.

In this role you will :
  • Organize and manage the art team to align with the needs of Project Blight and leverage the unique abilities of each team member.
  • Understand and oversee the production pipeline for environments and assets specific to Project Blight's dark, medieval setting.
  • Participate in production and ensure the development of the team in their daily tasks as well as the development of competences and expertise of this team.
  • Organize the production of the team, its structure and its communication with the other teams.
  • Ensure clear communication with his managers to give visibility to his team and his work
  • Strong production awareness to assist with workload estimation
  • 3+ years of experience leading a team
  • Knowledge of classic 2D / 3D computer graphics software (Maya / Marvelous Designer / Zbrush / Photoshop)
  • Knowledge of a game engine Unreal
  • Learn new software and / or be a proponent for new software that improves the quality and performance of the team
  • Knowledge of modelling techniques
  • Understanding of the constraints related to the Unreal engine
  • Jira and Confluence experience is a plus.
Dans ce rôle vous devrez :

  • Discuter des avancements et des risques liés au développement avec le producteur
  • Être responsable du développement des éléments artistique du projet en accord avec les calendriers et contraintes de production
  • Comprendre le pipeline et les outils utilisés ;
  • Assurer le suivi des artistes, incluant la mise à jour de leur expertise, les évaluations et le développement de carrière
  • Posséder de bonnes compétences artistiques afin d'aider à encadrer la production en lien avec la vision artistique
  • Établir et gérer les budgets artistiques selon les besoins du projet
Ce que nous recherchons :
  • Organiser et gérer l'équipe artistique en fonction des besoins de Project Blight et tirer parti des compétences uniques de chaque membre de l'équipe.
  • Comprendre et superviser la chaîne de production des environnements et des assets spécifiques au cadre sombre et médiéval de Project Blight.
  • Participer à la production et assurer le développement de l'équipe dans leurs tâches quotidiennes ainsi que le développement des compétences et de l'expertise de cette équipe.
  • Organiser la production de l'équipe, sa structure et sa communication avec les autres équipes.
  • Assurer une communication claire avec ses gestionnaires pour donner de la visibilité à son équipe et à son travail.
  • Avoir une forte conscience de la production pour aider à l'estimation de la charge de travail.

En tant que Chef d'équipe, votre rôle est d'assurer une production optimale de l'art du jeu, en respectant la direction artistique demandée ainsi que les contraintes temporelles et techniques, pour un projet de jeu d'horreur réaliste.
