Operations Engineer, Mfo, Nasc Engineering

NASC Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Operations Engineer to lead Material Flow Optimization (MFO) Process initiatives in developing and delivering next-generation sortation and transportation systems.
About the RoleThis position will have a significant impact on both design and process design engineering for the NASC. As an Operations Engineer, you will collaborate with internal and external teams to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for our sortation and distribution systems.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate efforts to develop optimal solutions and processes for the sortation and transportation network through material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors, and vendors.
- Develop and execute detailed roadmaps and technical solutions to drive business results.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering, operations engineering, manufacturing engineering, or project engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Intermediate level knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL.
- Experience working with and managing third-party vendors.
- Experience with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing.
