Job Title: Pharmacist Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all aspects of the technical act of dispensing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Receive and process prescription refill requests and verbal prescriptions in accordance with laws and regulations.
  • Establish and maintain patient profiles, scan and file patient records, and ensure confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with prescribers, patients, and colleagues to provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing products, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist, including cleaning and maintaining the dispensary area.
Requirements:
  • Education: Pharmacy Assistant Program
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in retail pharmacy
  • Proficient in current PC systems, MS Office programs, and pharmacy software (Kroll)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Customer service skills to achieve customer satisfaction
