About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes. As a Nurse Care Manager, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and ensuring their safety, health, and happiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate resident care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Assess and monitor residents' needs, providing individualized care and support.
- Supervise and manage the work of nursing and personal care staff, ensuring excellent care delivery.
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback to staff members.
- Collaborate with the Director of Care to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
Requirements
- Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Registered/eligible for registration with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario.
- Previous experience in long-term care, with a strong understanding of duties and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
