About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes. As a Nurse Care Manager, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and ensuring their safety, health, and happiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate resident care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Assess and monitor residents' needs, providing individualized care and support.
  • Supervise and manage the work of nursing and personal care staff, ensuring excellent care delivery.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback to staff members.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Care to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Registered/eligible for registration with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario.
  • Previous experience in long-term care, with a strong understanding of duties and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
