Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Caretaker to join our team at the Halifax Regional Centre for Education (HRCE). As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our schools, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, painting, and repairing equipment and furniture.
- Ensure the proper disposal of waste and recyclables.
- Assist with special events and projects as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a custodial or maintenance role an asset.
