Purpose:

Contributes to the overall success of the QA/Global Finance & Risk Technology/ Quality Assurance Automation in Bogota, Colombia, ensuring the execution of individual goals, plans, and initiatives to support the team's strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities align with regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Champions a customer-focused culture to enhance client relationships and utilize Bank resources effectively.
  • Supervise and coordinate testing for projects/releases.
  • Assess UAT projects to determine release risks and impacts within tight timeframes.
  • Design UAT test plans, review test documentation, and manage resources efficiently.
  • Work with project teams to fulfill business and technical requirements.
  • Maintain expertise in banking applications, code configuration, and system integration.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancement and provide technical advice.
  • Understand and consider the Bank's risk culture in daily activities.
  • Contribute to an inclusive work environment and high-performance culture.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in software quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in creating clear test plans and cases.
  • Skills in SQL queries for data validation.
  • Experience with white and black box testing, as well as automated testing tools.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development and with HP ALM/JIRA.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Spanish, ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Passionate about team success, familiarity with PEGA, SAP, and other tools.

Education:

  • Degree in computer science or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a QA Test Automation Engineer.
