Intermediate Traffic Engineer

A highly skilled traffic engineer is sought to provide traffic engineering services for a wide range of projects, including municipal roadway and provincial highway projects, transit and rail projects, and transportation-related facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop long-term career with experienced transportation professionals
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Conduct in-depth traffic assessments and impactful traffic analysis studies
  • Engage in every stage of infrastructure projects, from planning to detail design
  • Support preparing engineering drawings, sketches, and layouts
  • Attend internal and external meetings to identify issues and mitigation measures
  • Venture into site inspections and investigations
  • Engage in internal and external team meetings to discuss and strategize
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Master's degree in Transportation Engineering desirable
  • P.Eng. or eligible for and actively working towards obtaining P.Eng. certification
  • 5 years of traffic engineering experience after university graduation
  • Tech-savvy engineers with hands-on experience in traffic modeling and simulation software
  • Proficient with MS Office tools and methodical approach to solving problems
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills and initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently
