**Lead Combat Systems Integration and Design Specialist**
A highly skilled professional is sought to lead the integration and design of combat systems for the Canadian Surface Combatant Program, requiring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience in a fast-paced shipyard environment.
**About the Role**
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating technical deliverables across multiple teams, maintaining a high standard of professional excellence, and supporting the sale of combat systems integration and design performance and test requirements to Irving Shipbuilding Inc. Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating and supporting technical deliverables across M&A, Cable Management, SIE, CSEL, TDP, and Project Engineering teams
* Maintaining a high standard of professional excellence
* Supporting Irving Shipbuilding Inc. in the sale of combat systems integration and design performance and test requirements
* Attending meetings with ISI, sub-contractors, OEMs, and internal Lockheed Martin teams as required
* Resolving Ship Integration and Design CPT-related issues and discrepancies with the customer
* Liaising with SMEs, OEMs, SCAs, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues
* Supporting initiatives to improve Ship Combat Systems Installation, Integration, and test program efficiencies and minimize rework
* Sharing lessons learned with peers and co-workers across the organization
* Assisting in refining staffing plans and requirements in support of execution of Ship Integration and Design Integration Scope
**Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Science, or related field
* 10+ years' combined technical and management experience in a related field
* Demonstrated capability to perform well in difficult or ambiguous situations
* Experience in a shipyard environment
* Strong relationship-building skills
* Strong negotiating skills
* Strong leadership skills
* Aptitude for providing technical guidance and solving challenging problems
* Works well individually or in a team environment
* Possesses outstanding written and verbal communication skills
* Knowledge of Naval Combat Systems is an asset
* Ability to acquire North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret Security clearance

* Experience in Ship Platform and Combat systems Design and integration
