Daily responsibilities may include:
- Assemble electrical control panels and enclosures following detailed schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Perform wiring, component installation, and labeling of control panels.
- Conduct functional testing of assembled control panels to ensure proper operation and adherence to quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical assemblies and wiring.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly processes and test results.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure project specifications are met.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards in the assembly process.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Technical or trade school certification in electrical or electronic systems preferred.
- 2 years of proven experience in electrical control panel assembly or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for electrical assembly.
