DESCRIPTION

  • Contribute to planning, architecture, and research endeavors
  • Engage in intricate development tasks that demand thorough analysis across areas such as user experience, software design, and solver exploration
  • Uphold best practices and ensure their continuity through technical assessments and guidance
  • Conduct complex bug verification, release testing, and beta assistance for specified products
  • Investigate issues identified by QA or product support and engineer solutions
  • Explore and grasp the marketing prerequisites for a product, encompassing target environment, performance standards, and competitive factors. Collaborate with strategic clients or proxies to evaluate requirements and devise resolutions
  • Work autonomously with limited oversight and potentially undertake some planning and mentoring duties
  • Manage interns or co-ops, although typically devoid of direct reports

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience, MS with at least 3 years of experience, or PhD with a minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Practical experience in software design and development methodologies
  • Proficient in C++ with substantial technical expertise and commercial experience

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive technical proficiency and commercial exposure in C#, object-oriented design, software configuration management, scripting languages, data structures, and algorithms
  • Passionate about crafting resilient and efficient code
  • Demonstrated capability in delivering top-notch products within a large-scale commercial software development environment
  • Understanding of customer demands and tools utilized in this domain
  • Strong communication and interpersonal aptitude
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a geographically dispersed team
