Dispatch Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled Dispatch Operator to oversee a state-of-the-art healthcare Control Centre, monitoring systems and handling dispatch duties.
**Job Responsibilities:** * Dispatch Security Guards to incidents, requests for assistance, and emergencies * Maintain control of access to and from the property * Log details of radio transmission, telephone calls, and verbal instructions * Direct back-up support as necessary * Inform management of major incidents * Maintain the Camera Surveillance System * Answer all incoming security telephone lines * Ensure security operations occur consistent with policy and procedures * Perform other duties as assigned **Qualifications:** * High degree of professionalism * 1-2 years of prior dispatch or industry-related experience * Strong command and fluency in the English language * Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment * Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence * Ability to handle stress and pressure and make sound decisions under duress **Requirements:** * Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence * Valid First Aid & CPR Lvl C * Vulnerable Sector Check * COVID Double Vaccination * Ability to commute to Toronto for pre-deployment training * Certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) **Why Work with Us:** * Opportunities for advancement and growth * Free Uniforms * Security license reimbursement * Paid vacation & sick days * Additional perks **About Paladin Security:** Paladin Security is a leading provider of security services to clients with complex security needs.
