  • Lead the development and execution of Carleton University's digital workplace strategy, aligning with business outcomes and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee digital workplace functions, including operations, governance, and enablement, fostering a culture of digital dexterity.
  • Deliver applications and services that enhance the Digital Employee Experience (DEX), leveraging Microsoft 365 tools, process automation, and Power BI capabilities.
Qualifications:
  • Strategic leadership and management experience, with a focus on people management, strategic planning, and risk management.
  • Knowledge of contemporary best practices in information management and technology programs, service delivery models, and IT applications, infrastructure, and security.
  • Experience in project management, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior management, peers, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, process automation, and Power BI, with the ability to leverage them to enhance DEX.
  • Awareness of ways to measure DEX and familiarity with IT frameworks such as ITIL.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years in IT service delivery, with at least 3 years leading digital workplace teams or projects.
  • 5+ years of direct managerial experience in mentoring and developing IT staff.
  • 5+ years managing IT systems, processes, and vendors.
  • Experience in strategic technology planning and policy development.
