About the RoleAs a Clinical Practice Nurse - Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide professional registered nursing services for patients with complex and unpredictable health needs. You will work under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services and demonstrate a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide independent nursing services, including administration of prescribed medical treatments
- Take a leadership role within the healthcare team
- Coordinate patient care and discharge
- Post-graduate course in ICU nursing or equivalent experience required
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required
- Current CRNM registration required
- Active participation in professional associations, such as the Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM), preferred
- Annual BLS Level C Registration/Re-Registration is required
- Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
