What you will do:

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Preparation and Management: Kickstart the day by setting up each department with the needed funds, ensuring everything aligns with The Rec Room's vibrant pace.
  • Cash Handling: Count and verify cash against logs and records, oversee petty cash, and ensure safe and accurate deposits, embodying our commitment to excellence and trust.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Dive into the action of the operations floor during peak times, highlighting your adaptability and eagerness to engage directly with our dynamic environment.
  • Compliance and Accuracy: Maintain impeccable accuracy in all transactions and adhere strictly to loss prevention and compliance standards, reflecting your elevated level of responsibility and alignment with our values.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in cash handling or a similar role preferred, highlighting your capability to manage financial responsibilities with precision.
  • An initiative-taking, organized, and reliable approach, ready to meet the challenges of a demanding environment with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to manage objects up to 80 lbs, reflecting your readiness to engage fully in the physical aspects of the job.

Work Schedule

As an Hourly Cash Administrator at The Rec Room, your working hours will vary based on the day of the week to accommodate our dynamic entertainment schedule:

  • Monday to Wednesday: 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM
  • Thursday: 10:00 AM to 3:00 AM
  • Friday and Saturday: 10:00 AM to 4:00 AM
  • Sunday: 10:00 AM to 1:00 AM

This schedule reflects the vibrant nature of our entertainment environment. Flexibility is required, as hours may extend or vary depending on business needs and special events. This role includes shifts during weekends and holidays to ensure we meet the exciting pace of The Rec Room's offerings and guest services.
