CG Lighting/Compositing Artists sought for Vancouver studio project

We are an award-winning animation studio with locations in Vancouver, Ottawa, and Los Angeles, known for our artist-friendly culture and flexible work environment.

As a CG Lighting/Compositing Artist, you will work shot by shot or in sequences to attain the creative lighting goals of the director, collaborating with other members of the production.

  • Work closely with the Lighting Supervisor and other production members to achieve creative lighting goals.
  • Meet deadlines as assigned by production management.
  • Stay up-to-date with new techniques, tools, and software.

We are looking for artists with prior experience working as a Lighting and Compositing artist on multiple projects, with production experience using Katana and understanding of Maya and Nuke.

  • Prior experience working as a Lighting and Compositing artist on multiple projects.
  • Production experience using Katana.
  • Understanding of Maya and Nuke.
  • Excellent visual skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior industry experience working in a studio environment.

Competitive pay and benefits package available, including medical, GRSP, vacation pay, and paid holiday break.

Wage ranges are based on a weekly rate.

$1,500—$1,750 CAD
