Project Manager role at Pomerleau, a national leader in the construction industry, requires a highly organized and driven individual with experience managing large-scale building and infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Project Management and a minimum of 5 years' experience working as a project manager in the general contracting or construction management sector. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing large-scale building and infrastructure projects from concept to completion
  • Leading and mentoring internal project teams to ensure success and team development
  • Building and developing positive relationships with internal stakeholders, external clients, contractors, and subtrades
  • Overseeing the bidding and contracts process to maximize profitability
  • Guiding project teams to ensure seamless coordination of plans and specifications, while managing project finances
  • Adapting to changing client needs with innovative solutions

Key qualifications include:

  • Strong knowledge of construction project methodologies, financial management, building codes, and relevant legislation
  • A proven track record of successful project leadership and team collaboration
  • A passion for building and nurturing exceptional stakeholder relationships
  • Experience with BIM and 3D model use would be considered an asset
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with individuals from various disciplines
