About the Role

We are seeking a forward-thinking, self-motivated Business Analyst (Salesforce) to join our Business Development team at Intact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the expert in Salesforce account planning and reporting, driving business growth through data-driven insights.
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to implement new reports, enhancements, and/or updates to current reports and processes, ensuring seamless integration and maximum efficiency.
  • Partner with stakeholders to re-engineer and modernize our Salesforce planning and reporting processes, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure regular updates are completed across account plans in Salesforce, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain an inventory of reports that constitutes the book of record for all stakeholders, providing a single source of truth for business decisions.
  • Plan and coordinate project activities related to Salesforce requirements or changes, acting as an intermediary between IT, end users, and managers to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate on various projects within the department, leveraging expertise and knowledge to drive business results.
  • Participate in the production of various documents, including business cases, presentations, executive summaries, and other materials that support business objectives.
  • Support the broader Business Development team with ad hoc analysis requests, providing timely and accurate insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience as a business analyst, with a strong track record of driving business growth through data-driven insights.
  • Strong knowledge of using data and insights to drive continuous improvement, with a focus on process optimization and efficiency.
  • Highly developed analytical skills, facilitating problem-solving and decision-making.
  • P&C Insurance and Affinity experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create engaging and informative presentations.
  • Design Thinking and Customer Journey mapping experience is an asset, but not required.
