P&H GrainThe P&H Grain Division is a comprehensive grain and crop input network, operating across approximately 45 locations in the prairie provinces and Ontario. Our strategically positioned facilities, including grain elevators, rail sidings, inland terminals, and specialized export terminals, ensure that we effectively match producer grain with the needs of both domestic and export end users. As a full-service agri-retailer, we provide farming communities with a full range of quality crop input products and agronomic solutions, encompassing crop protection products, certified seeds, nutrients, and custom applications.Your RoleAs the Facility Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operations of the chemical shed, ensuring that all tasks are carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company standards. Day to DayReceive and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling and storage of all products.Organize and maintain inventory, keeping stock levels optimal and accessible. Prepare customer orders and assist with pick-up and delivery, performing exceptional customer service duties. Operate machinery and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.Ensure compliance with safety regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. QualificationsExperience with general labour, preferably in agriculture and/or farming.Valid driver's license required. Experience operating a forklift.Basic computer skills.Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
