Quality Control Microbiologist

BIOVECTRA Inc. is a leading company in the industry, and we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Microbiologist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Equipment Maintenance and Calibration: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of microbiology lab equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • USP and Compliance: Implement USP and other regulatory requirements on a variety of products and samples.
  • Sample Preparation: Prepare samples according to USP monographs, general chapters, and in-house SOPs.
  • Documentation and Release: Complete paperwork for the release of materials, including status labels and certificates of analysis.
  • Safety and Compliance: Comply with documented safety practices for the laboratory and the manufacturing facilities.
  • Chemical Analysis: Perform chemical analyses when required.
  • Additional Duties: Perform additional duties assigned by the department supervisor based on business needs.

The ideal candidate for this position should have:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Biology or related field.
  • Skills: Knowledge of aseptic techniques.
