Job Summary

As a Packaging Operations Specialist, you will work collaboratively with the team to meet and exceed operational targets in safety, quality, and productivity. You will demonstrate safe practices, ensure compliance with company values and policies, and strive to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety: Comply with Occupational Health & Safety Act and Apotex policies, prevent safety incidents, and report incidents immediately.
  • Quality: Build quality into products by performing packaging duties according to Standard Operation Documents, access corporate sources, and exhibit Good Documentation Practices.
  • Productivity/Equipment: Execute Packaging Orders efficiently, operate equipment within specifications, and maintain proper supplies of packaging components.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 education or recognized equivalent
  • Able to lift weights up to 20 kg, meet standard physical demands, and express oneself clearly in English
  • Reliable attendance, punctuality, and self-managed team player with a positive attitude
  • Previous Packaging Operator experience in a GMP environment is an asset
