Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in management information systems (MIS), computer science, information systems, or information technology
- 5+ years of experience with work with databases, data procedures, and data administration
- 5+ year(s) experience in data coordination, data managements, and data analysis
- A strategic, business oriented mindset with a strong understanding of how to use information to optimize key strategic and day-to-day decisions.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing data frameworks and driving continuous improvement
- Familiarity with database design and current technologies
- High level proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with Crystal reports and a Citrix environment are an asset
- An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and ability to think outside of the box

What will you do?

  • Manage the overall IT strategy and IT infrastructure of all business locations
  • Manage IT-related projects and installs
  • Ensure that all components of the IT system are available and operational when required by system users. In case of systems failure, the IT Coordinator makes systems available again with the least possible delay
  • Manage the third party network administrator to schedule system backups/reboots/cleanups and preventative maintenance of system components
  • Advise CFO on network security measures and other matters requiring management attention or disclosure
  • Provide management with reporting on IT project status
  • Manage and maintain clear documentation on IT assets
  • Assist with workstation setup and furniture sourcing and allocation
  • Manage requests for IT assistance by identifying priority.
  • Manage and coordinate month end and year end database backups
  • Design customized computer generated reports
  • Provide IT orientation to new users
  • Establish standardized procedures and train others to execute
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
  • Ensure all tasks are performed with the highest regard for safety, as outlined in our Safety Manual
  • Ensure quality, as outlined in our Quality Manual, is inherent in all tasks performed

To be considered:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar role working in an office environment and using office equipment
  • Bachelor Degree in a related discipline, such as Information Systems, Computer Science, Systems & Network Administration, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, etc
  • Project Management experience or education preferred
  • Ability to understand, troubleshoot and provide timely solutions for basic office equipment malfunctions (printers, scanners, monitors, desktop computers, laptops, and phones)
  • High level proficiency with Microsoft Office and Crystal Reports
  • Knowledge of MS SQL Server, Exchange Server & Citrix preferred
  • Ability to listen to, understand, and resolve IT requests from users in a timely basis
  • Ability to act as a liaison between the external IT Network Administrator and the internal IT users
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience working with a diverse group of internal and external teams and partners
  • The ability to organize information and communicate or store it so it is useful to others
  • Strong attention to detail
