Job SummaryThe School of Business at Kwantlen Polytechnic University is seeking a qualified non-regular type two (contract) instructor to teach a 100% workload. The successful candidate will be required to teach various courses in support of our diploma and degree programs.The School of Business offers courses on all four campuses of Kwantlen Polytechnic University, in the communities of Richmond, Surrey, Cloverdale and Langley and faculty are expected to be available to teach on each of them. The ability to teach all/some of the following courses is required:
  • BUSI 1110 Fundamentals of Business in Canada
  • BUSI 1210 Introduction to Management
  • BUS 1215 Organizational Behavior
  • BUSI 2405 Operations Management
Minimum required qualifications for teaching in the Business Management department include an MBA degree or equivalent and five years of related management experience. Preferred qualifications include significant industry management experience with a strong track record of developing employees and business leadership. A Ph.D. with experience teaching courses at a post-secondary institution with a focus on teaching versus research is desired.Prior instructional experience building inclusive learning experiences in an intercultural environment, teaching with cases, and web-based delivery is an asset.
