About the Role

Cineplex, a leading entertainment company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Corporate Reporting to join its team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the quarterly reporting process, including writing the financial statements and Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A).
  • Work with Internal Audit and Finance teams to coordinate interim reviews and annual audits.
  • Analyze new International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other relevant pronouncements and provide policy advice to business units and functional departments.
  • Lead and coordinate completion of multiple deliverables within fixed timelines.
Requirements
  • CPA or CA designation.
  • Minimum six years combined experience in financial reporting in an audit firm and in a medium to large public company.
  • Previous supervising and mentoring experience.
Desired Skills and Abilities
  • Highly collaborative and enjoys being part of a team.
  • Ability to analyze existing processes to drive improvements, including through automation.
  • Knowledge of IFRS theory and practice.
  • Strong customer service, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
