**Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Addictions Counsellor to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a successful applicant, you will be responsible for providing recovery services to individuals affected by substance abuse and their families.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screening and ongoing assessment activities to identify client needs and develop personalized recovery plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support clients in achieving their recovery goals
  • Manage client files and maintain accurate records of progress and outcomes
  • Collaborate with community resources to ensure comprehensive support for clients
  • Work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve shared goals and objectives

**Requirements:

  • Chemical Dependency diploma
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of addiction recovery principles and practices

**Preferred Qualifications:

  • HSAS membership
