The New Brunswick Housing Corporation is seeking ambitious and skilled Engineers to join the recently renewed and restructured organization. As a member of the Construction and Modernization Branch, you will report to the Director of Construction and Modernization and be responsible for project management and technical direction across a diverse range of new construction and major renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and control of project budgets and schedules.
- Effectively control project scope to ensure project deliverables are met;
- Collaborate and liaise with various levels of government entities and internal departments;
- Engage and supervise private sector consultants and contractors to ensure project objectives are achieved;
- Provide comprehensive supervision and control of projects throughout all project phases including: planning, design, tendering, contract award, and construction.
- Manage direct-report staff.
Work Environment:
- Office location: 551 King Street, Fredericton.
- Standard hours of work: Monday - Friday 8:15 am - 4:30 pm.
- We promote a scent-reduced environment.
- Some travel within the province will be required.

Essential Qualifications:
- University degree in Engineering. Minimum eight (8) years of related experience in building design or construction projects and be registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGNB.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick

- Project management experience
- Direct-report supervision experience
