Warehouse / Forklift Operator Job Description

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a team player to manage warehouse operations, handle inventory, and provide excellent customer service.

Job Summary
  • Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, stockkeeping, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
  • Perform counter sales, housekeeping, and quality assurance activities.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.
Responsibilities
  • Handle all incoming shipments and verify purchased products.
  • Perform quality assurance inspections and enter order receipts into the computer system.
  • Place received material into proper warehouse storage locations.
  • Pull, pack, weigh, and label materials for shipment.
  • Prepare bills of lading and express receipts.
  • Assist in loading trucks and prepare local delivery records.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
  • Assemble and disassemble bins, racks, shelves, and tables as needed.
  • Maintain counter stock and assist with over-the-counter sales.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Certification on Counterbalance or Reach forklifts is an asset.
  • Reliable transportation method is required.
  • Ability to use hand tools and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and basic computer skills are required.
