Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care specific to each patient based on feedback received during patient consultation or file review.
  • Ensure excellent patient experience by locating merchandise on the sales floor and providing counsel on sold pharmaceutical products.
  • Establish and develop strong working relationships with Professional Services District Managers and other stakeholders.
  • Accept prescriptions and/or refill requests from customers, doctors, or hospitals, and ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely.
  • Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products and execute processes as per Walmart's best ways/SOPs.
  • Operate all equipment in the pharmacy, including the register and computer system, and protect and maintain patient privacy at all times.
  • Ensure patients receive all eligible services they are entitled to, such as medication reviews and injections, to meet specific patient needs.
  • Assist in executing the business action plan to achieve corporate business goals in partnership with the Pharmacy Manager.
Requirements
  • Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization)
