Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a General Help and Cashier for a school cafeteria. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store food in designated areas following proper food safety and rotation procedures.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, adhering to our high standards of customer service.
- Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements to prevent accidents and maintain a healthy environment.
Requirements:
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
- Good command of the French language to effectively communicate with colleagues and customers.
- Previous experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare, hotel, restaurant, or fast food setting, is considered an asset.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position, including lifting and moving equipment and supplies.
