Position Overview:
I'm seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and fun individual for the role of an Insurance Account Manager in our locally owned Desjardins Insurance Agency. This is a sales role where you will be able to take full advantage of a full-service agency specializing in Car, Home, Commercial, Life, Critical Illness and Disability Insurance along with Auto and Recreational Vehicle Financing. In this role you will be able to demonstrate your skills in relationship building through the offering of a multiline solution to your clients. By doing this, you have the opportunity to achieve uncapped compensation through a combination of salary and commission. When you bring your "grow the business, within the business" mentality along with your ability to nurture and grow relationships with clients, your income opportunity is yours to set. It's not a requirement to have your insurance licenses. If you do great, however, the right individual with the right sales attitude is more important to me. We will provide the training and development necessary to be successful while also sponsoring you for the required regulatory licensing. Earning Potential:
base salary + uncapped monthly commission & bonus plan
Responsibilities:
- Grow the business through sales. This is done by prospecting for, and developing client leads through multiple channels (social media, marketing, centres of influence, telephone etc.)
- Have the willingness to develop Centres of Influence, schedule appointments, identify client needs, and present appropriate products and service solutions
- Leverage product and sales process training to build your unlimited income earning potential
- Provide prompt, accurate, and extraordinary client experience
- A typical day may include calling prospects, presenting client solutions, responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, coverages, policy changes, transfers, etc.
- Work alongside the team and Agent/Owner in growing the business while developing yourself for a rewarding career
- Sharing your own ideas on how to grow the business
- Be excited about the opportunity to learn and develop yourself in achieving your income earning goals
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience (outside/inside sales, retail sales, telemarketing)
- Strong desire and self-motivated to own your own success with the support of a great team around you
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Social Media tools and willing/comfortable using them to connect and interact with clients
- Ability to multitask while being organized and working in a fast-paced environment
- Successfully obtain your Property & Casualty and Life Insurance licenses (we will pay for and, support you in this process)
