Reporting to the Program Manager the supervisor oversees the day to day operations of the Day Care Centre ensuring that the program meets/exceeds all licensing requirements and fulfills the goals and objectives of the organization. The Program supervisors is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the child care. The Child Care Supervisor will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality childcare and early learning.

Please note the centre is licenced for children from infants to 12 years of age.

Key Qualifications:

- Commitment to the mission of supporting families and offering exceptional programs with supportive leadership and integrity
- Leadership skills, typically gained from a minimum 5 years of supervisory experience
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Education requirements, including the _Child Care Early Years Act 2014_, and effective program delivery.
- Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Strong initiative and commitment to continuous learning
- Ability to build trusting relationships and support others with open and honest communication
- Ability to effectively manage conflict and difficult situations
- Skills to manage multiple demands and adapt to changing needs
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Financial acumen, such as billing and reconciliation
- Attention to detail and quality assurance
- Digital literacy, such as the ability to use and learn MS Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
- Current Standard First Aid, Infant Child CPR Certificate, and Vulnerable Sector Screening
- **Experience working with all age groups from 0-12 years is an asset**

**Salary**: $33.02-$33.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
