Responsibilities
  • Write a minimum of 5-10 articles per week in Screen Rant's house style, including fact-checking, formatting, linking, and image sourcing/very basic editing.
  • Brainstorm, pitch, and develop original content ideas that align with our editorial vision.
  • Accept and apply feedback received by the editorial team to ensure high-quality content.
  • Communicate openly and actively with the editorial team to ensure seamless collaboration.
Requirements
  • A passion for gaming and a drive to grow within the industry.
  • Previous writing experience, preferably in the gaming industry.
  • Familiarity with the latest AAA releases and a deep understanding of the gaming landscape.
  • The ability to analyze content and pull directly from the source material to back up claims.
  • A sharp eye for grammatical details and excellent command of the English language.
  • Ability to write high-quality articles with swift turn-around times.
  • Comfortable working in an entirely virtual environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of what it means to write "Features," "Lists," and "News" articles.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Asana, WordPress, and Discord.
  • Image editing experience and knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics.
